Carolee, BCRF Partnership Hits Milestone

CHECK PLEASE: In the wake of Mother’s Day, Carolee will mark its 20th year of partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a series of initiatives. The brand will bestow $125,000 to the foundation — its largest-ever annual donation — funded largely by sales from the fashion jewelry brand’s 40th-anniversary Legacy Collection. Acting chairman Leonard Lauder, whose late wife Evelyn established the foundation in 1993, will accept the check on May 14 at The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. headquarters in New York. Additionally, in honor of Evelyn, the jewelry brand will unveil a multirow pearl torsade “Evelyn” necklace from its fall Mirror Image collection, with $5 from the sale of each piece of the collection benefitting the BCRF.
