CHANGING OF THE GUARD: C.P. Company has tapped Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey as its new creative directors.
The Italian men’s wear label is currently controlled by FGF Industry SpA, the company owned by designer-entrepreneur Enzo Fusco, who bought it from Carlo Rivetti’s Sportswear Company SpA in February 2010.
The appointment marks Pungetti’s comeback to the brand he had designed for eight years from 2001 to 2009. Harvey, who comes from Rivetti’s stable as well, has been the designer of Sportswear Company’s Stone Island division from 1996 to 2008.
Pungetti and Harvey are also the creative directors of men’s wear luxury brand TEN c — The Emperors New Clothes, which is manufactured and distributed by FGF Industry.
