CFDA to Unveil Two New Online Initiatives

Upon Suzy Menkes’ suggestion and with KCD’s help, the organization is running international reviews on cfda.com during New York Fashion Week.

CFDA’S WEEK ONLINE: There will be two new Council of Fashion Designers of America online initiatives this week. Upon Suzy Menkes’ suggestion and with KCD’s help, the organization is running international reviews on cfda.com during New York Fashion Week. These will be posted simultaneously with the participating newspapers, and reviews will include those by Menkes for the International Herald Tribune, Paola Pollo for Corriere Della Serra, Vanessa Friedman for the Financial Times, Lisa Armstrong for London’s Daily Telegraph, Carine Bizet for Le Monde and Godfrey Deeny for Le Figaro.

“The top international reviews will now be at the fingertips of designers, publicists and fashion followers during New York Fashion Week,” CFDA chief executive officer Steven Kolb said.

Also, cfda.com and Swarovski crystals will host “Instagram NYFW: A Collective View” this season. Cfda.com will be aggregating live feed Instagrams of insiders who use #cfdaSwarovski (Instagram handles are @CFDA and @Official_Swarovski).
