CAVALLI ON THE DRIVE: Roberto Cavalli has a new Rodeo Drive look. The brand, which opened its location on the Beverly Hills street in 2005, has remodeled the 3,000-square-foot store to fit its global retail design concept. The official unveiling of the updated store is today. “It was time to refocus on Los Angeles where I’ve always had a connection with my customers, who share the same passion for luxury and design,” said Cavalli. He added that elements of the store, including python chairs, Baroque mirrors and Cavallino carpets, “create a rich experience.” The interior also features crystal-flecked quartzite flooring, illuminated crystal displays, and dark brown and ivory stucco walls accented with gold tones, while the exterior has patterned double glass lit from within the store. There are currently six Roberto Cavalli stores in the U.S., and the brand plans to open four to five more in the next two years.
