HIS AND HERS: Carven, which presented its revived men’s wear line during Paris men’s fashion week, in its second season under the creative direction of Ludovic Alban, is to launch its first women’s ready-to-wear line in Paris this October, designed by Guillaume Henry. The women’s designer joins the house from Paule Ka’s creative team, where he worked for three years. Elements from the house’s spring men’s wear line, meanwhile, run the gamut from tailoring in old school men’s wear fabrics to quirky sports wear elements - a jacket with a metallic copper finish, say, or a lilac suede sweater.
