Cartier Goes Click

Cartier is set to offer its first click-and-collect service in the U.K. this week at Selfridges.

CARTIER GOES CLICK: Cartier is set to offer its first click-and-collect service in the U.K. this week at Selfridges. The service, which goes live Tuesday, allows shoppers to browse, reserve and pay for their Cartier jewelry on Selfridges.com, and pick it up in-store. Cartier is the first and only brand in the Selfridges Wonder Room to offer click-and-collect, and will have a one-month exclusive on the service.

Among the watch, jewelry and accessories collections to be sold online are Calibre de Cartier Diver, Amulette de Cartier, the Jeanne Toussaint bag, Tank, Love, Trinity and Juste un Clou. High jewelry and fine watches will not be available, and neither will pieces that require sizing, such as rings and bracelets. Clients have five days to collect their purchases, and can book a time to do so.

Cartier said clients going into Selfridges to pick up their purchases will receive the same level of service as they would in any Cartier store. “It is an exciting project for us, and another way for us to engage an audience digitally. People can browse so much more, and the whole experience is smoother and more efficient,” a Cartier spokeswoman said.
