CHILD’S PLAY: With the opening of her company’s first U.S. store, Caramel Baby & Child founder Eva Karayianis has given Upper East Side mothers one more destination to park their strollers. Over afternoon tea at the 1244 Madison Avenue location, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Bettina Zilkha, Muriel Brandolini, Miranda Brooks, Veronica Bulgari and Cecile David-Weill were among the first to check out the children’s clothing, accessories, blankets, toys and books. The 14-year-old British company has five freestanding stores, and distributes via 100 retailers in more than 15 countries, as well as its e-commerce site.
