BURCH, BRENNAN, NORTON JOIN BCRF BOARD: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is expected to reveal today that it has added Tory Burch and Ed Brennan, chairman and chief executive of duty free retailer DFS Group, to its board and named Dr. Larry Norton, M.D., an ex-officio member. They join Leonard Lauder, who was elected acting chairman of the BCRF in December, following the November death of his wife, Evelyn H. Lauder. To date, the BCRF has raised $355 million to fight breast cancer. John Tighe, senior vice president and general merchandise manager, home, for J.C. Penney, is being honored tonight by the Housewares Charity Foundation, and in his speech will reveal that J.C. Penney will run a month-long, multi-million-dollar promotion to benefit the BCRF in October.
