CHECK MATE: Burberry will launch an online bespoke service for trench coats early next year, company principals said during the International Herald Tribune’s luxury conference in London.
Chief executive officer Angela Ahrendts and chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said customers would be able to design their own coats online, mixing and matching colors and styles, and adding details such as buttons, studs and initials.
“There will be more than 12 million options,” Bailey said of the Burberry Bespoke line.
