Buglisi Dance Theatre Commemorates 9/11 at Lincoln Center

SILENCE PLEASE: Early risers passing by Lincoln Center Wednesday morning may have been surprised to find 100-plus dancers circling Revson Fountain. Dressed all in white, the Buglisi Dance Theatre members were performing the Table of Silence Project to commemorate 9/11. Created by the choreographer Jacqulyn Buglisi and the Italian visual artist Rossella Vasta, the 31-minute piece ended at at 8:46 AM, the time when American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower in 2001.
