TO THE POWER OF TWO: London’s Browns is famed for having jump-started the careers of designers including John Galliano, Hussein Chalayan and Christopher Kane. Now, the boutique is helping two of its latest protégées build their nascent labels.


This fall, Browns is supporting illustrator Beatrice Boyle and fine jeweler Natasha Collis – granddaughter of Browns’ founder Joan Burstein – in wholesaling their lines.

 

The two designers will exhibit their collections at Tranoi in Paris from October 2 through 5. Boyle’s collection, which she designs in collaboration with Browns Focus under the label Beatrice Boyle for Browns Focus, is made up of T-shirts, tanks, leggings and hoodies printed with her illustrations of edgy women with mascara-streaked faces.

 

Collis, meanwhile, is known for the delicate gold jewelry laced with diamonds and sapphires, which she designs at her Ibiza studio. Collis’ collection is also stocked at Barneys New York.
