British Fashion Council Lands in Los Angeles

The BFC hosted a cocktail party to kick off its fourth season of London Show Rooms LA.

BRIT HIT: The British Fashion Council returned to Los Angeles this week to kick off its fourth season of London Show Rooms LA, bringing with it designers Marios Schwab, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, Todd Lynn, Christopher Shannon, Koji Maruyama and Marjan Pejoski, Patrick Grant, David Koma, Henry Holland, Holly Fulton, Michael Van Der Ham, Lee Roach and Shaun Samson. The cocktail kick-off, held Tuesday night at the Thompson Beverly Hills, drew Agyness Deyn, Hayley Atwell, Isabelle Fuhrman, Liberty Ross, Teresa Palmer and Roxane Mesquida, to name a few. “I very much get the L.A. vibe,” said Georgian-born designer Koma. “I see what everyone is always talking about.” BFC Emerging men’s wear designer Samson, a San Diego native who brings a sporty flair to his pieces said, “The elements of California style are universal now.” Of course, the actresses also made great mannequins for those specializing in shapely cocktail looks, like Schwab, who dressed Selena Gomez. “It helps a lot, coming out here and making the relationships,” he said.
