Diane Kruger's Bold Face... Karl Lagerfeld Does amfAR Show...

A giant portrait of Diane Kruger has been put up in Cannes, part of an outdoor exhibition of portraits by German photographer Marcel Hartmann.

AMFAR AND AWAY: Karl Lagerfeld isn’t ready to give up his room at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc just yet. Having staged his Chanel cruise show at the mythic hotel in Cap d’Antibes last week, the designer will be showing a selection of his photographs, curated with Carine Roitfeld, at the amfAR gala there on May 19. A slew of celebrities are expected to make the journey from neighboring Cannes for the fund-raiser chaired by Kenneth Cole. Uma Thurman, Kanye West, Jane Fonda, Mick Jagger, Janet Jackson, Brooke Shields, Harvey Weinstein and Patrick Dempsey are among those slated to attend. With Donatella Versace taking care of the decor, fashion folk will also be out in force. Eva and Roberto Cavalli, Riccardo Tisci, Peter Dundas, Sidney Toledano, Yves Carcelle and Jean Paul Gaultier will be on hand to join bidding for auction lots including a Cavalli dress worn by Naomi Campbell at his 40th anniversary party last year, and a signed Herb Ritts photograph of Elizabeth Taylor, who tirelessly supported amfAR until her death in March.
