FASHION’S FUTURE: An evening of shopping and design, dubbed “b the next,” will take place at Bloomingdale’s on Thursday, April 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will benefit the next generation of designers through the Pre-College Scholars Program at Parsons The New School for Design. The evening will feature such Parsons alums as Narciso Rodriguez, Tracy Reese, Lela Rose, Alejandro Ingelmo, Mara Hoffman, Carmen Marc Valvo and Kay Unger, as well as “Project Runway’s” Tim Gunn, who will sign copies of his latest book, “Tim Gunn’s Fashion Bible.”

The Parsons Scholars program is a free, art and design college-prep program for motivated New York City public high school students from diverse backgrounds. Ten percent of each purchase of select Bloomingdale’s items will be donated to the program during the event.
