BLING KING: Jason of Beverly Hills is set to open its second boutique, inside the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons hotel, where it will join luxury retailers Avakian, Mikimoto and Escada. Jeweler Jason Arasheben, known for creating over-the-top designs worn by celebrities like Jessica Alba, Tom Cruise and Missy Elliot (he designed a diamond pendant for rapper Lil’ Jon that the Guinness Book of World Records once deemed the largest in the world), has also collaborated with celebrity stylist Dave Thomas on a men’s line that launched at Harrod’s last year. The 500-square-foot Beverly Hills store will carry a full range of jewelry and watches. The nine-year-old company’s first store, opened two years ago in Las Vegas’ Cosmopolitan hotel, carries more pieces under $10,000, though prices for the line start at $1,000 and go upwards of $1 million for special-order pieces. A Harrod’s shop-in-shop is set to open this summer and the company also has its sights set on stores in London, Paris and Dubai.
