BIRD’S-EYE VIEW: Les Sources de Caudalie “vinotherapy” spa near Bordeaux, France, has tapped Maxime Simoëns to redecorate a suite. The one-bedroom accommodation perched on stilts, called L’Ile aux Oiseaux (or bird island, in English), will be inaugurated on Feb. 7 amid Château Smith Haut-Lafitte’s vineyards. Simoëns’ decor signatures include prints, bar codes and the contrast of matte and shiny finishes. The same suite was decorated by Maison Martin Margiela three years ago.
