Belstaff Taps Garine Zerounian

Zerounian, who starts as vice president of global communications on Monday, is being charged with overseeing the brand’s entire communications efforts.

BELSTAFF ADDITION: Belstaff named Garine Zerounian vice president of global communications. Zerounian, who starts in this new position on Monday, is being charged with overseeing the brand’s entire communications efforts, including men’s and women’s wear as well celebrity dressing. Most recently, Zerounian was director of global communications at Tory Burch, and, before that, held senior public relations roles at Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Yves Saint Laurent North America.

Belstaff is preparing for its fall 2012 relaunch after it was acquired by Labelux Group with Harry Slatkin and Tommy Hilfiger earlier this year. Zerounian will report to Belstaff’s chief marketing officer Damian Mould. “Garine really ‘gets’ the brand which makes her the perfect brand fit for Belstaff,” Mould said. “Her skills operating in both Europe and the U.S. will be crucial to the success of the Belstaff’s relaunch next year.”
