Bloomingdale's Charity Fashion Show to Benefit Asphalt Green

Caps designed and illustrated by Darcy Miller and produced by Tyr will be modeled by children ages six to 13 in bKids on the 8th floor.

BATHING BEAUTIES: On Wednesday at 6 p.m., Asphalt Green’s first Bloomingdale’s Charity Fashion Show will be held at the retailer’s 59th Street flagship, in bKids on the 8th floor. Caps designed and illustrated by Darcy Miller and produced by Tyr will be modeled by children ages six to 13 from the Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics swim team and its Waterproofing learn-to-swim program, which has taught more than 30,000 city children how to swim since its founding in 1993. The caps will be unveiled at the event and sold exclusively at the retailer’s flagship, benefiting Asphalt Green’s Fit Kids Fit City campaign. Ten percent of tracked sales during the event will also be donated to the cause. Bloomingdale’s has been a supporter of Waterproofing since 2012.
