Bananas About Bardot... Book It, Justin Timberlake... Chanel Heads West...

Lancel has dropped using leather in favor of plant-derived and man-made materials for Le Brigitte Bardot bag.



CHANEL HEADS WEST:
Far from its Paris debut at the Grand Palais, Chanel’s arctic-inspired runway show for fall 2010 got its first U.S. outing last Wednesday night in an industrial wine cellar outside Seattle, where the catwalk snaked between sleek, stainless steel tanks. About 200 Seattle socials, including co-chairs Jolene McCaw and Kim Richter, turned out for the party at the Novelty Hill Januik Winery. The benefit, underwritten by Nordstrom and attended by president of merchandising, Pete Nordstrom, and his wife, Brandy, raised more than $130,000 for the Northwest Ballet and Seattle’s Henry Art Gallery.
