HER MAJESTY’S FASHION FAVORITES:
Another round of fashion and beauty names has received a royal nod in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list, which was published Saturday. Tamara Mellon, founder and chief creative officer of Jimmy Choo, was named an OBE, or Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for services to the fashion industry; photographer Nick Knight was named an OBE for services to art, and Harold Tillman, chairman of Jaeger and the British Fashion Council, was named a CBE, or Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Susan Harmsworth, chief executive officer of Espa, which creates spas, treatments and skin care products, was named an MBE, or Member of the Order of the British Empire, for services to the spa and beauty industry. Meanwhile, Catherine Zeta-Jones was named a CBE for services to the film industry and to charity.
