In what seems inevitable considering his livelihood is rooted in a fictitious fashion world, Mark Indelicato of “Ugly Betty” plans to launch a denim collection and has already pulled together a few samples with Disney.

At the Badgley Mischka show Tuesday, the teen star, who was wearing a prototype pair of jeans, said Mickey Mouse’s parent company has yet to officially green-light the project but he is hopeful that will happen some time next year. His seatmate, Kat DeLuna, is also eager to see her name on a fashion label, preferably gloves, handbags or shoes — she wears hundreds of pairs of the latter. With her next album, “Inside Out,” due out in June, the native New Yorker is in the midst of a national gay tour. As for people who are openly critical of that venture, she said, “You just have to learn to deal with it. I don’t let it get to me. I’m going to live my own life.”
