Baby2Baby Hosts Luncheon Benefit in L.A.

BABY LOVE: Baby2Baby founders Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, along with co-hosts Jacqui Getty, Minnie Mortimer, Samantha Phipps and Sara Foster corralled Los Angeles ladies for a luncheon Tuesday at seafood eatery Son of Gun to benefit the children’s charity. But there was nary a shift dress or tweed suit in sight; most guests came dressed down in jeans courtesy of sponsor Paper Denim & Cloth. “We wanted to do something different, because it’s hard to get people out of the house,” said Patricof. Isla Fisher traded parenting tips with Mortimer, while Jordanna Brewster told Julianne Hough she was “working on” having a baby. “What a loud bunch of yentas,” laughed stylist Estee Stanley as she chatted with Simone Harouche and Louise Roe. “I’m not really an events person; they had to drag me out,” admitted Paper Denim founder and owner Alex Gilbert Gaines, adding, “But it’s great to see so many chic women in jeans. That would never happen at an event in New York.”
