Astor Capital Investment in Brazil

Venture capital firm has made an investment for an undisclosed amount in Vitrinepix, along with e.Bricks Digital

ASTOR CAPITAL INVESTMENT IN BRAZIL: Astor Capital, a venture capital firm with offices in New York and Rio de Janeiro, has made an investment for an undisclosed amount in Vitrinepix, along with e.Bricks Digital, the business development arm of Brazilian media firm Grupo RBS. Vitrinepix, launched in April 2010, provides technology to help businesses create their own online stores. Vitrinepix’s services include security for all transactions, customer service and delivery support. The company is based in São Paulo.

Astor Capital is the investment arm of investment banking firm The Astor Group. Last year Astor Capital, along with Intel Capital, the global investment and mergers and acquisitions arm of semiconductor giant Intel Corp, invested in Elike. Elike is a Brazilian startup that has a B2B platform as well as a social shopping component through its B2C platform.
