Arnault and Pinault Breaking Bread... Tahari Picks a Tent...

Bernard Arnault and François Pinault, the once-warring luxury titans and their spouses, are cohosting a charity dinner.

TO THE TENTS: For a few seasons, Elie Tahari unveiled his collections with a cocktail party and runway presentation at his company’s headquarters on 42nd Street adjacent to Bryant Park. This coming fashion week, however, Tahari has decided it’s time for a change by moving across the street and into the park. On Feb. 16, Tahari will show his women’s and men’s fall collection at The Salon at Bryant Park venue, as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. “We decided to show in the tents this season because they will always be the heartbeat of American fashion and I wanted to celebrate their history in Bryant Park, as well as their future at Lincoln Center,” the designer said. Tahari is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with a repeating runway presentation.
