ARMCHAIR QUARTERBACK: Van Heusen is offering up a weeklong internship with Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Young in a contest that launches today on the brand’s Facebook page. Entrants are invited to submit a photo that expresses their personal style, along with a brief elevator pitch for the internship with Young, now a sportscaster and businessman.
The promotion is part of Van Heusen’s ongoing “Institute of Style” campaign, which is focused on dressing for career success and also features Hall of Famer Jerry Rice and current Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.
An advertising push includes commercials on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football”; print ads in GQ, ESPN The Magazine and Men’s Health, and a digital buy on gq.com, cbssports.com and Careerbuilder.com.
