BLUE BELLES: Anthropologie scattered its signature whimsy and feminine flair on the Tuesday dinner it hosted for the upcoming release of “A Denim Story: From Bellbottoms to Boyfriends,” written by Emily Current, Meritt Elliott and Hilary Walsh. Custom denim bunny ear napkin rings, chambray table cloths and dip-dyed blue flowers adorned Los Angeles’ The Hart and The Hunter, where, along with Anthropologie’s chief marketing officer, Suzy Korb, Current and Elliot greeted fashionable friends including Jessica Alba, Mandy Moore and Micaela Erlinger.

Pals since college and styling partners for a decade, Current and Elliott are always in sync, whether it’s on their shared Twitter and Instagram pages where they posted snapshots of the party or for their enthusiasm for the host.

“Anthropologie shares in our love of denim and appreciation for whimsical decor — right down to the custom denim bunny ear napkin rings made especially for the dinner!” they said.

Anthropologie customers will get their own taste of the denim aesthetic on March 18, when Rizzoli New York launches “A Denim Story.”
