DANCE PARTY: American Apparel added a bit of international flavor to Japan fashion week by hosting a party that attracted hundreds. Revelers packed into a cafe in Tokyo's Hikarie building, the main show venue, to catch a glimpse of the event's main attraction: a brief performance of dancers wearing the brand's clothing ranging from long flowy skirts to hot pants. One vignette featured a bouncy gaggle of women in color-coordinated crop tops and floppy hats. There was also a graceful modern dance performance by two women and a man set to Etta James' "At Last" in which the male dancer put a pair of the brand's white jeans to a serious flexibility test.
