Alexis Bittar Taps Head of Global Communications

Anne Fahey-Storment is headed to Alexis Bittar as vice president of global communications and marketing effective July 28.

NEW HIRE: Anne Fahey-Storment is headed to Alexis Bittar’s namesake firm as vice president of global communications and marketing effective Monday.

Most recently, Fahey-Storment was vice president of global communications, marketing and new business development at Jason Wu, a role she took on in late 2009. Prior, she was CM Media’s vice president of business development, and before, had held senior public relations posts at Cartier and Chanel.

At Alexis Bittar, she will oversee global public relations, media and planning, including creating brand imagery and content across media platforms. She will report to Bittar, the Brooklyn-based jewelry firm’s chief executive officer and creative director. “[Anne] brings with her extensive fashion experience and I am [pleased] to have her lead p.r. and marketing efforts,” Bittar said.
