DOWN TOWN: Alexandre Vauthier, whose couture designs have been worn by the likes of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé Knowles, has delivered a characteristically flamboyant debut effort as the new guest artistic director of Pyrenex's premium outerwear line. His fall collection for the French down bedding and activewear specialist, which features around 15 men's and 18 women's styles, includes a varsity jacket covered in 50,000 golden Swarovski crystals and a reversible down-filled velvet cloak. Vauthier, who succeeds Alexis Mabille in the role, has signed on to design the line for the next three seasons.
