ALEJANDRO’S NIGHT OUT: Cuban-American shoe designer Alejandro Ingelmo is teaming with Swarovski to launch a red-carpet-worthy collection called “Alejandro Ingelmo Evening” that will launch in-store in February. The designer will show his collection in Paris this season with an event cosponsored by Swarovski for the first time to introduce the line to press and buyers. Consisting of 12 women’s styles and four men’s and ranging in price from $1,000 to $2,500, the shoes build upon Ingelmo’s edgy and architecturally driven aesthetic and apply the Austrian crystals, which add the “perfect touch of refinement and luster,” something helpful for getting shoes, which are typically hidden on the red carpet, noticed.
