FOOTLOOSE: “They are actually great for dancing — very supple,” said Benjamin Millepied, sporting a brand new pair of Stan Smiths, Adidas’s iconic sneaker that has been recently relaunched after a three-year hiatus.
The choreographer, who was at a party in Paris Thursday night to celebrate the event, said he used up another pair while rehearsing for the modern dance project he created with the Batsheva dance company for the occasion. It was an expressive dance act-cum-video.

Singer Imany, meanwhile, wondered about some “really weird propositions” she has been getting lately. “I just shot a Chanel story for Be magazine, in which I embody Coco Chanel. Somebody thought I was related to her. I didn’t understand it, but it was fun,” Imany said.
The model-turned singer is also wrapping the soundtrack of a new movie directed by Audrey Dana, starring Vanessa Paradis and Isabelle Adjani, to be released in fall. “It’s about women, by women, for women,” she explained, of the film with the gender-bending title “Homo sapiennes.”
