LOVE PATCH: For its annual Valentine’s Day stamp, the French postal service has tapped fashion designer Adeline André to create a heart-shaped design. André, who is known for her patented three-armhole design, created a “love patch” featuring a red heart illustration printed on transparent plastic. A sheet of five stamps priced at 3 euros, or $3.95 at current exchange, is available for purchase at post offices in Paris and on the website www.laposte.fr/timbres.
