ABFAB GRAB: Joanna Lumley, who famously played Patsy Stone, the naughty, boozy fashion editor in “Absolutely Fabulous,” auctioned off some of her costumes this week in aid of The Prince’s Trust charity. “It was huge fun selling off some of my most famous wardrobe treasures,” said Lumley. The charity, founded by Prince Charles, supports disadvantaged youths.
The auction raised more than $23,000, with top lots including the Joseph zebra print jersey jacket that Lumley wore in the opening credits and the hat she donned for Saffron’s wedding. “It’s sad to say goodbye to some of my favorite clothes, but I can keep the happy memories they represent, and the money raised will help vital work to support young people across the U.K., so everybody wins,” said Lumley.
