I WANNA BE A SUPERSTAR: Dressed in their finest, more than 500 Parisians strutted their stuff to help Galeries Lafayette set a Guinness World Record for the biggest-ever fashion show. Crowds gathered to watch the non-professionals parade on Thursday evening down a catwalk set up on Boulevard Haussmann, home to the French department store’s Paris flagship. Stores in other major French cities also took part, but held their fashion shows the weekend before, and a parallel event was staged in Berlin. All in all, nearly 10,000 people signed up for the chance to be a model for a day.
