PEN PALS: Cordula Reyer, the smoldering Austrian model who stalked runways for Helmut Lang and Jil Sander in the Nineties, was in the second row of the Bottega Veneta show Saturday morning wearing a different hat – that of a fashion journalist.
“I’m still in my baby shoes,” she said of her segue into writing. Reyer said she came to Milan to interview Bottega designer Tomas Maier for NZZ, the weekend magazine of Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
But she hasn’t hung up her modeling shoes yet, and earlier this year reunited with Tatjana Patitz and Christina Kruse for a shoot in Another Magazine. “I pop up every now and then,” she quipped.
