Missoni said Thursday that it hasn’t received any official and detailed communication on the recovery of bodies from the aircraft YV2615BN-2A that carried Vittorio Missoni, which disappeared on Jan. 4.

On Thursday, Venezuelan newspaper El Universal reported that the remains of five bodies had been pulled out from the small aircraft found in the waters north of the Los Roques archipelago off of Venezuela on June 27.

Missoni was traveling with his life partner Maurizia Castiglioni, friends Guido Foresti and his wife Elda Scalvenzi, along with pilot Hernán José Marchan and copilot Juan Carlos Ferrer Milano.
