Unilever Promotes Phillips To Worldwide Post

Robert Phillips has been promoted to worldwide director of Unilever's personal products business, effective Aug. 1.

NEW YORK -- Robert Phillips, who has been chairman of Unilever's Prestige Personal Products division in the U.S. and president of Elizabeth Arden since 1992, has been promoted to worldwide director of Unilever's personal products business, effective Aug. 1.


In his new post, Phillips will oversee Arden along with the other Unilever cosmetics subsidiaries, like Calvin Klein Cosmetics and Chesebrough-Pond's. Arden has not yet named anyone for Phillips's former posts.


Phillips will succeed Antony Burgmans, who will be in charge of Unilever's food division.
