Kellwood Taps O'Quinn: Floyd C. O'Quinn has been named vice president of operations for the lingerie and activewear division of Kellwood Co., St. Louis.
O'Quinn will be responsible for production planning, forecasting, finance, information systems and technical services. He also will oversee production planning of McComb Mills, a textile manufacturing operation that produces tricot.
O'Quinn reports to Charles T. Rumbley, division president. He absorbs the former responsibilities of Jerry Rhodes, who was promoted to corporate director of Kellwood's export/import businesses.
Before joining Kellwood, O'Quinn served as chief financial officer of Vanity Fair Mills since February 1994. Earlier, he was chief operating officer of the Warner's division of The Warnaco Group, from 1991 to 1994.
O'Quinn will be based at the division's headquarters in Summit, Miss.
Bestform Names Stone: Larry Stone has joined Bestform Foundations Inc. as senior vice president of manufacturing, a new post.
He reports to Marvin Bienenfeld, president and chief executive officer.
Stone, a 25-year veteran of the intimate apparel industry, was most recently vice president of manufacturing for the Warnaco Intimate Apparel division of The Warnaco Group from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, he was director of manufacturing at Lovable Co., Buford, Ga., for three years.
Earlier, he was a director of manufacturing at Bali Co., a division of Sara Lee Intimates, for nine years.
