Phillips-Van Heusen Corp. plans to set up its own Canadian headquarters for the Calvin Klein, Izod and Van Heusen men's sportswear brands beginning with the spring 2009 collections.

- PVH'S CANADIAN VENTURE: Phillips-Van Heusen Corp. plans to set up its own Canadian headquarters for the Calvin Klein, Izod and Van Heusen men's sportswear brands beginning with the spring 2009 collections. The headquarters will be based in Toronto. In addition, PVH will end its licensing agreements with Caulfeild Apparel Group Ltd., the Canadian distributor of Calvin Klein and Izod men's sportswear, and JFC Licensing Inc., the Canadian distributor of Van Heusen sportswear. Caulfeild and JFC will market the sportswear in Canada through the end of this year. JFC is in negotiations to continue to offer Van Heusen brand products in other licensed categories, including suits, blazers, overcoats, hosiery and small leather goods, beyond 2008.
