BADGLEY GETS BUSY: Badgley Mischka rang up $100,000 at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, in a two-day trunk show, June 21-22.

Top sellers from the fall collection included a cut velvet Pierrot shirt in ruby and jet at $1,550, paired with jet shadow-stripe pajama pants, priced at $440. Twelve sets were sold. Other hot items: jet washed-organza shirts, at $965; black tuxedo crepe pants, $395, and tuxedo crepe camisoles at $245. Nine of each were sold. Also, four hematite cocktail dresses at $2,995, checked out.


BUGS BUNNY'S NEW DESIGNER: Christopher Hacker has been named vice president and creative director of design for Warner Bros. Worldwide Retail, responsible for all products and packaging design for the Warner Bros. Studio Stores. The position is new. He reports to Linda Postell, senior vice president of merchandising.

Hacker was with Steuben for six years, where he was vice president and design director. Before that, he held design posts at Dansk International Designs and Estee Lauder.
