MILAN — Frida Giannini and Patrizio di Marco’s first child, named Greta, was born on March 2.
Gucci issued a statement announcing the birth, saying that both Giannini, creative director of the brand, and the baby “are doing well.”
Di Marco is Gucci’s president and chief executive officer.
Giannini took a bow at both the brand’s men’s and women’s shows in January and February, respectively, and is expected to take maternity leave until the men’s show at the end of June.
