Kara by Kara Ross

As fashion week marched on, so did the accessories presentations. Kara Ross unveiled her new boutique line, Kara by Kara Ross. Her jewelry highlights included large petaled rings in semiprecious stones and cuff bracelets, while handbags featured five new takes on her signature clutches, a sheared mink number and others in exotic skins with semiprecious stones. As part of her efforts to grow her daytime offerings, Ross showed luxe framed numbers in materials such as printed ponyhair and puzzle-piece patchwork alligator.

After stints at Marc Jacobs and Erin Fetherston, Amanda Pearl has struck out on her own to make handbags for the "women of the world." She divided the line into three groups: The permanent collection included a long cylindrical minaudière and pouch clutch, both in silk duchesse with semiprecious stones and crystal accents. The second part, called Collection, was made up of pieces in vibrant saturated hues with beautiful beaded brocades, reflecting Pearl's fall inspiration, Jaipur. Finally, the limited edition collection will be comprised of one-of-a-kind styles and special collaborations that are still being developed.
