Alexandre Herchcovitch spliced together military details with decidedly feminine clothes, sometimes intriguingly, as in a silk georgette dress that had utilitarian khaki sleeves, and sometimes amusingly, as in the closing ruffled numbers, featuring epaulets and frilly tiers at the shoulders, derriere and, yes, crotch.
