Although fashion is his expertise, Zac Posen was all about beauty two days before his second Z Spoke show. In the sophomore season of his diffusion line, the designer said he's looking to evolve the collection from an introduction to the media and instead focus on his consumer - creating a look she can easily transition from day to night.

But what look would be complete without the perfect hairstyle? To fully achieve the Z Spoke girl's flirty but chic appeal, Posen called on celebrity stylist Larry Sims and got2b's "rockin' it" line, to create an organic curl starting halfway down the models' locks.

"I wanted to create something that felt effortless, easy, rich, chic and approachable," Posen said.

Sims started with the cosmetics line's dry shampoo, giving the hair added texture, he said. After creating a center part, he then brought in a large-barrel curling iron and began curling small sections in a downward motion, from mid-strand down.

Sims said the look complements the versatility of the line, which includes slates, grays, inky blues and pinks; and easy fabrics like jersey knits and luxury wools.

"[I'm] trying to get the most design and the most quality and functionality for a good price," Posen said.
