StyleCred also comes with an incentive for users to build and share looks. If someone you share a look with visits the Outnet, via the app or online, from clicking on that look and makes a purchase (which does not have to be one of the items on said look), you earn a $30 credit to be used within 30 days.
The launch is part of the e-tailer's larger digital strategy which was precluded by a mobile site, blogger partnerships and branded editorial content.
The Outnet plans to add looks curated by their own team, sharing via embedding on Tumblr and blogs and a Leaderboard of the best and most shared looks on the app in the future.
StyleCred is a free app available through Apple's App Store on both iPhone and iTouch.
