Lisa and Brittny Gastineau just couldn't stay away from the cameras. The mother-daughter duo/reality interlopers are making their way back to your TV screen this spring, but this time their focus has shifted to the fine art of jewelry making.
After many attempts at reality TV fame, including two seasons of "The Gastineau Girls," "Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive" and guest appearances on "The Hills," "The City" and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," the Gastineaus have finally found a network they can call home -- HSN. The pair will invade your TV via the home shopping giant to sell their eponymous accessories line, "Gastineau Glamour."
This isn't the ladies' first jewelry rodeo. In 2009 Lisa and Brittny launched Tres Glam, which can be found on the extremities of celebrity friends such as Kelly Osbourne and Lindsay Lohan. The latter chose the line's "Anti-Envy Eye" necklace for her latest court appearance (that seemed to work out well).
Like Tres Glam, Gastineau Glamour will be a fresh take on vintage styles. The first collection
features estate-inspired looks and boho-chich designs, including couture-inspired necklaces, earrings, rings, cuffs and bracelets that range from $49 to $499.
"My mom and I have always been extremely close and that will quickly become apparent when we appear on HSN. We can't wait to share the inspirations behind the designs and be able to demonstrate to a large audience the passion we have for jewelry," Brittny Gastineau told WWD.
Gastineau Glamour makes its HSN debut on Monday, March 21st at 2 a.m. (prime home shopping time, ladies) and 9 p.m. (ET)
We hope this isn't the first step of a master reality TV comeback plan for the duo.. If so, it might be time for a reality intervention.
