The designer's latest Facebook contest, which participants can enter to win a $250 gift card to the store, is not your traditional Valentine's Day sweepstakes. It's called "Love Hurts," and it begs fans to share the worst break-up stories they've ever heard.

"We always think about different things to feature on our blog, and Valentine's Day was coming but we didn't want to do some corny heart thing," said Alan, on what prompted the idea. "There's always a certain sadness for people that are not in relationships on Valentine's Day, and everyone's got a friend with a crazy break-up story, if not one of their own. The idea was mentioned almost jokingly, 'cause it's sort of kooky, but we ran with it."

Reader, we ask this: Has a two-timing loser ever run off with someone while you were still together, leaving you crying into a pint of Ben & Jerry's, wondering if you ever meant anything to them at all? Have you ever fallen victim to the "It's-not-you, it's-me" spiel? Has anyone ever played with your heart like a dog with a chew toy? If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then now's your time to shine.

The best entry so far is from the girl who got dumped by her boyfriend via an e-mail alert from Expedia.com, notifying her that her flight to visit him had been cancelled -- by him.

Yeah, this is a contest we can definitely get behind.
