Mia Wasikowska, who plays Alice in the film, which hits U.S. theaters March 5, wore a floor sweeping, black and cream lace confection from Valentino's fall 2009 couture collection.
And appropriately for a film filled with English eccentrics, Vivienne Westwood dressed a number of the guests. Anne Hathaway, who plays the White Queen, wore a custom bronze bustier dress, while Helena Bonham Carter, the Red Queen, wore a frothy custom strapless frock--accessorized with a clutch embroidered with her image as the queen.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who attended with Prince Charles, also wore Westwood - but thriftily, her deep blue silk double duchess satin gown was a recycled number. The Duchess first wore the dress for a Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium in 2008.
