Melissa shoes' men's collection, M:Zero, is setting up shop at Alter's newest "mini chain" location in Brooklyn. Starting Thursday, the brand will open a pop-up shop at the store's latest location on Graham Avenue.
The pop-up shop will feature M:Zero's two style collection in five color variations. The collection is inspired by classic men's loafers and oxfords, and though some look and feel like suede (thanks to Melissa's unique flocking technology) every shoe is made from 100% recycled plastic. The two silhouettes, a slip on driver shoe and a lace up oxford come in both matte plastic and flocked variations.
With its long standing tradition of plastic footwear, Melissa delved into the men's market in the spring of 2010. Celebrity fans of M:Zero include Daniel Radcliffe and Lorenzo Martone. If Harry Potter's wearing them, why shouldn't all the hipsters get on board?
