But Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was clad in a Marni blouse and pair of blue jeans, seemed refreshingly relaxed. After all, how long has it been since a real star walked the carpet in jeans? Too long, according to Gyllenhaal's stylist Leslie Fremar, who said, "When a top is as interesting as any dress, it is more than suitable for the red carpet with jeans."
And she'd like to see other starlets follow suit. "I would love more casual looks on the red carpet," continued Fremar, whose roster of clients also includes Jennifer Connelly and Charlize Theron. "It's more of an expression of personal style."
